I couldnt have possibly shipped all that to the States, would have loved to but would have cost way to much. All the memories really are awesome. Oh well, you'll just have to rely on this website for the past. Plenty of stuff here. With the season only a week away, should we create a sequel to this thread called What the f**k is happening!! LOL I'm predicting a bad start to the season.

the internet is awesome, you can find out just about anything. I wonde4 if those Big League magazines would have ever been worth anything?
What the f**k is happening, is a brilliant title. I concur.
I will be on vacation for a couple weeks from the middle of this week so dont know how much I will be on. I will try and get on if I have time in the hotel room.

I would say the Grand Final issues would go for $50.00 a magazine. Vacation!! Sounds good. Where to?

I am going to Florida for a couple weeks.
$50 would be good. I would not be able to sell them here in the States, as nobody know that sport even exists.

Is it warm enough yet in the States? Enjoy your vacation or what we call "holiday" in Australia. Shame about that, nobody knows the game exists. Such a great sport. Maybe one day!!

yes i know you call it holiday there, but thanks for the heads up. LOL
It is a great sport just so poorly promoted. Like I said they had a Test match in Denver last season, there is no follow up. Why would anyone here want to get interested. You get some interest after one game then nothing ever again.

I think State of Origin, NSW v QLD should be promoted in the States. Try and get Americans to follow Rugby League, 3 games a year. That's a start. A State of Origin game was played in California in 1987, but only 11,000 showed up. I remember watching it. An all in brawl in the first 5 minutes. LOL

they do show NRL on cable, but only 2 games a week. Then you have to know that the game exists to try and find it. The time difference doesnt help either. They do show all the State of Origin games but once again same problem. I tape them all because the time difference is bad.

YouTube has live football games, but I don't think you can watch the NRL. The other day I saw a European soccer game that was being played live.

The NRL blokes a lot of things on the website if you are not in Australia. So stupid and narrow minded. I will check YouTube.

why dont they find someone with half a brain to manage the NRL? Maybe even someone that has an ability to promote the sport internationally.

Good win!! Only the sin binning of Jennings gave Panthers a chance.

My take on the game -
* Panthers in the 1st half were dreadful with many errors - long season for them. * Eels put in a solid performance, but it's only early days * Mitchell Moses goal kicking was ordinary, but he kicked the one that mattered to go 8 in front. * Eels only let 2 tries in and that was during Jennings sin bin
Crow, did you want to create another thread for 2019.
