No Defence, No Offence, what the hell is going on? Is it the Coach? Is it the players? The Eels do have a record of having a good season where they overachieve, followed by total underachievement. You would think under totally different coaches that would not happen, unless maybe it is a culture thing? Plenty of questions I dont have the answer.

Problems within the team, no heart and soul, not fit?? There is no way Manly are a team 54 points better than Parra. The second half against the Panthers was ordinary and against the Sharks only 4 points. Imagine when Parra play the good teams. Another loss this weekend, Tigers have been playing some good footy. Brad Arthur has a lot of problems to work out.

Is Brad Arthur the problem? That would be my number 1 guess. Brad Arthur after the Manly game said the players didn't turn up on the day. Players should always strive hard and achieve for their coach. Wayne Bennett and Craig Bellamy always get the best from their players. What is happening with BA? Although, Parra had a good season last year. Are the Eels missing Semi? LOL

Something definitely wrong, that's for sure. Rumours, innuendo and the team have no cohesion. Arthur had a lousy start as coach - really held the team together through the board, cap saga but we had some not so good games last year then started to fade. 2018 started with complete disinterest from the players, no leadership to speak of, lazy defense with no attacking flair. Maybe it is a good thing (for now) that we are not hitting the headlines which might allow the problem to be resolved behind closed doors. Then again have a look at the Cowboys, they are playing like the Eels atm.

I dont think losing Semi is the issue. He was a winger therefore not involved in a lot of the problems currently hampering the team. Hayne has done nothing, can stay injured for the rest of the season for all I care. Put Taka back in at center when he is fit. Gutherson at Fullback when fit. Hayne at best maybe a wing spot if he is good enough. Forwards a huge problem, no guts, no glory. Instead of signing Hayne they should have gone after a couple props. That Rooster reject is exactly that, a reject.

With the exception of 2009, do Parra ever turn seasons around? Although, if you look back at the past 20 years, Parra most of the time started the season poor.

How good was Guth last year until he got injured!! He would of been player of the year at Parra and made Corey Norman look ordinary. Definitely missing him. Don't rate Tim Mannah? LOL Nice guy, but need a stronger leader, especially in the forwards. I'm also not a fan of his interviews after the game.

I dont think we will get the wooden spoon, but not a very good start. It doesn't look like they can beat anyone. If Gutherson, back from injury doesn't make a difference this weekend, get ready for another loss.

Not only are they losing games, they are struggling to score tries. How can you not score a try in 80 minutes of footy??
