what is your honest opinion of the coming season 2019? What are your feelings about the Eels keeping BA for another season?

what is your honest opinion of the coming season 2019? What are your feelings about the Eels keeping BA for another season? Wouldn't have a clue!! 2017 was a good year making top 4, but this year wooden spooners with almost the exact team. I think it all comes down to attitude. If Parra put in 100% every game, they'll make top 8, but this did not happen in 2018. What team will turn up in 2019? If Parra put in another poor performance with a brand new Stadium, then they will have sunken to an all-time new low. It will be disgusting.

big mistake keeping BA, I dont think they will come last but I dont think they will make the playoffs either. Got a halves pairing that does not gel. A center that is way passed it. Nobody really capable at playing fullback. No hooker that is up to scratch. The whole backbone of the team sucks.

They don't play for him. How does this guy keep his job with mediocre results?

You left out Manu Ma'u who is probably the best player the Eels have. He puts in every week, if there were 12 more like him we would win the competition.
That 1986 team was awesome. The last game for Price and Cronin was the Grand Final win. Since the Eels have not won a thing since they retired maybe we should sign them and sit them on the reserves bench, as good luck charms?

Great player Ma'u. Old school forward. The 1986 team would be the best in the history of the club. Won the Premiership, Minor Premiership, Club Championship and National Panasonic Cup. Parra won everything that was on offer. Price and Cronin - sit them on the bench. Why not, we need all the luck we can get.

I agree with you on the 1986 tesm. Better than any team that won the competition for the dogs back then. After losing Price and Cronin at the end of that season, they just werent all that competitive any longer. I would have to say the the damn Dogs had a better forward pack than the Eels.

The Bulldogs went on to win more premierships in 1995 and 2004 after the 80's, but Parra have struggled since that glory decade with the exception of the Brian Smith days also known as the choking days. I remember in 1987 thinking back to back premierships, but the season was a disaster from Round 1. I thought Parra could of managed without Price and Cronin, but it was obvious by mid year, that Bob Lindner wasn't half the player Ray Price was.
