Does Brad Arthur need a change on the bench?
It's easily arguable that Brad Arthur hasn't had his selections right to start the year for the Eels, with the club losing both of their opening games.
It has become evident during those performances - albeit in what is an incredibly tough start to the year draw-wise - that their four forwards on the bench policy just isn't working.
All of Jirah Momoisea, Jack Murchie, Wiremu Greig and Makahesi Makatoa are solid players in their own right, but combined, they don't bring a great deal of versatility or x-factor.
Of course, Parramatta will be hanging out for the return of Ryan Matterson and Shaun Lane in the coming weeks, which should allow Bryce Cartwright to go back to the interchange, but at this stage, a player like Jakob Arthur or Mitch Rein could easily be picked on the bench, even if they see limited minutes.
An extra attacking option for the middle third of the game is something so many teams are successful in employing, and it's something Arthur must consider, with Arthur named as 18th man for this Thursday's clash.

This season the Eels draw is tough and already there defense is embarrassing. Even that turd admitted to that. Right now I hope that they come last because it might be a wake up to that front office to get rid of that dumbass turd? Once he is gone as long as they are not stupid enough to go with Barrett, whoever they get should be a huge improvement, I hope. That front office is so dumb and they worry me. I think the janitor has shown us that he'll never be sacked. Only a riot outside the club with all the Eels fans will see him booted from the coaching role. Not many fans are unhappy. This dud coach has shown already he can't back up an ok season making a grand final and we are only round 3.

3 losses in a row!! The Eels have shown this year they can score points but can't defend.
Talking points
* I'm not one to blame referees but Gutherson to RCG was a great try and would have levelled the scores 22-22. That was cruel!! * Dylan Brown is a passenger, does nothing. * Can't defend, especially out wide. The Eels centres and wingers are struggling. * I guess 3 losses in a row means a pay rise for the janitor. Nice little bonus. * Manly were rubbish, played terrible but still won the game. They must be embarrassed with that scoreline. * Brookvale Oval 13,000 and it looks full to capacity. LOL

Brookvale Oval is straight out of the 19th century. I dont like to blame the goal kicker but get rid of one trick. Also get rid of Brown, he is now on big money and shows nothing. Can you believe this team made the GF? The turd is doing all that he needs to do at the Eels to have his contract extended? Last week the turd called the defense soft, so what happened this week,,,,,NOTHING. Turbo Tom hurts us every time he plays against us.

“This has been a complete oversight as far as the draw’s concerned. Tonight they play Manly coming off a bye, next week they play Penrith coming off a bye, the week after they play the Roosters coming off a bye.
