Hate to say it but from what I have seen this weekend the best team so far would have to be the Raiders.

Hate to say it but from what I have seen this weekend the best team so far would have to be the Raiders. Manly belted the Bulldogs, but the Dogs are terrible this year. I'm thinking Eels will win against Manly, but in a close one. Turbo Tom and his brother will have to be marked closely, and I think the Eels might go 4 in a row. Raiders might make the grand final again? |

The evil empire will definitely test the Eels. I hope they come up with something better than bash and barge offense. I dont think the janitor is capable of working on something to shock the opposition. He just has no ability at all. The evil empire will not be dominated in possession like the Eels have done in the 3 games so far. It will be a good guide to how the Eels really are in this game. Even if they do well they will still need to improve a lot to test the Storm, Roosters and Raiders.

Keep Turbo Tom on the backfoot, because if you give him a chance, he'll carve the Eels up. Play the game down their end of the field. Need more line-breaks up the middle of the park. The one thing this season so far the Eels have improved is errors. There have been less errors. Janitor must have had them training hard scrubbing the bowl during the offseason. |

I think Turbo Tom always scores against the Eels, hopefully they can stop that. I am not convinced about there defense. They have not played anyone yet to test it. I have zero confidence in Kidwell, it is hard to see such a great team with a lack of leadership on the sideline. How come you and me seem to be the only ones that realize it?  |

Still have DCE, although he's past his best. Eels should win by 14, but Manly always lift against the Eels. Good the game is not being played at Brookvale Oval, but instead a real ground. You and I call things for what they are, whereas 1Eyed Eel they don't face things. |

Both teams have a chance at making the finals and have plenty to play for this weekend. I think the Eels will come out firing but will realise they're up against better opposition than the past 3 games and will concede more points, but they will still have a chance at winning. Eels should win because they have the better players, but their mental state in the tougher games worries me. |
