BS was so good at turning clubs around but just couldnt take them to the promised land. Bears were always my second favorite team and loved going to North Sydney Oval. Here's a tough one - Brian Smith or Brad Arthur? At least the choker can make the preliminaries and grand finals. Go the Bears!! |

We need to move on from both. BS was better than the flushing turd but he is not the answer. Flanagan is dying to get back into the NRL but the Eels are too stupid to realize he is a much better option than there current loser option.

Not looking forward to next year, just another disappointing end, probably to Melbourne again. There are people who believe Eels are getting closer and the janitor can deliver but not even making a preliminary speaks volumes. Jennings seems to be another bad bugger. |

Best-case scenario
Even if all the cards fall their way, it’s hard to see this team lifting the premiership trophy in 2022. Parra don’t seem to have the player with wow factor like they did the last time they made a grand final a dozen years ago. A top-four berth is a possibility but may be the ceiling on their capabilities.
Worst-case scenario
The Eels could slip and slide out of the finals equation relatively quickly if their recruitment issues continue to be a distraction and any of their impending departees try to get a mid-season switch to their next club.
