And why wouldn't Brandon Smith stay with the Storm? Storm players either stay long term or sign with the Roosters. Maybe they think the Roosters are the only team in Sydney cause they're called the Sydney Roosters. |

Roosters are awesome at cheating the salary cap and Storm players earn more with them. It worked for the Roosters to get Cooper Cronk and this move will more than likely work for them as well. Bring back the Bears, we need one more Sydney team.

I'll go to my grave scratching my head at Brian Smiths coaching career. Awesome coach during the regular season but a disaster in the finals. His teams all performed bad in grand finals, even the Roosters in 2010 were demolished by full-time. Storm and Roosters are cheque book clubs like Manly decades ago. Poor Bears, booted out of the comp. Not a successful club or well supported but a foundation club. |

BS was so good at turning clubs around but just couldnt take them to the promised land.
Bears were always my second favorite team and loved going to North Sydney Oval.
