I agree with you. Has Gutho been signed by someone else yet? Appears Gutho will be joining the Dragons. In a way I can understand the logic. While Gutho is the Eels best, fullbacks do not win premierships, and Compost does not want a team built by the janitor especially after two miserable seasons since the grand final appearance. |

Dragons might be a good team next season.
I hope the Eels will be, but I pretty much doubt it. I pretty much think the compost dump will be just that.

Dragons will never be good and Gutho will not change anything. With the exception of Lockyer in 2000, but the Broncos had a State of Origin team and Jarryd Hayne in 2009, fullbacks don't win games. Maybe Turbo Tom, because he is that good, but not Gutho. |

True, Gutho isnt as good as Turbo Tom but he was the best the Eels had and gave 100% every week. The rest of the team can bury there heads in shame.

Gutho is also 30 years old and not far from retirement. Even though he is the Eels best I understand the logic even if letting him go is a dumb move. |
