Eels are happy with the janitor!! Their mop and bucket coach made a grand final. I guess that puts him in the same category as Choker Smith, but the Choker was way better. |

The choker was a very good coach, except at the pointy end of the season.
The turd was lucky to make a GF but was shown out badly by a very good coach.

Both '01 and '22 grand finals were the same, but the janitor never stood a chance. But I would say the '01 grand final, hurt the most. Eels were minor premiers, best attacking team, broke several records and won 10 games in a row going into the grand final. This year, Panthers were expected to win and finished 1st on the ladder. |

Haven't watched it!! Turned the game off right on fulltime. Didn't bother with the speeches, celebrations or interviews after the game. And this will be another grand final I never watch again, same as '01 and '09. |

2001 by far hurt the most. They were very short odds to win and were big time favorites. Unfortunately they had a choker. This year they had a dumb turd who was shooting a long way above his weight. He would struggle at high school football.
