I have to agree with you but I sure hate seeing them win. Even with internals problems at the evils club they are still competitive. Manly are a very professional club, the hunger to win always there. Wish the Eels had the same approach, an us versus everyone else attitude.

If you dont support the evils they are easy to hate plus the us Vs everyone else approach leave a chip on your should and a great will to beat everyone. I wish the Eels had a chip on there shoulder, they should considering the last time they won the GF convicts were the dominant population in Sydney.

On a further note Matterson is a dumbass. What did Matterson do? Good player, but not a premiership winning talent.

EELS
Test their new-look pack
The Eels have lost five key members of their forward pack this season, and Reed Mahoney, Ray Stone, Isaiah Papali’i, Marata Niukore and Oregon Kaufusi will be sorely missed.
However, Parramatta have made a number of savvy signings who are preparing to fill the void.
Veteran Josh Hodgson takes over at hooker and will be hoping to forge combinations with his new teammates.
Meanwhile, Jack Murchie, Jirah Momoisea and Matt Doorey will all be looking to stamp their claim for a spot in Brad Athur’s starting 17.
The Eels also signed Penrith prodigy J’maine Hopgood, who could line-up at lock to start the season with Ryan Matterson suspended and Nathan Brown free to negotiate with rivals.

An old man and five unknown's. Sounds like 1995 signings all over again.
