I guess we will see this coming season and then 4 years at the dogs. If he is injured more than he plays then it will look good for the Eels front office. They are still pathetic though.

They are still pathetic though. 2023 will be a terrible season with ordinary halves and no hooker. Eels under the current coach have reached their full potential not even reaching a preliminary. |

Rhe fact that almost a quarter of the team is leaving at the end of the coming season shows there is something horribly wrong with this current transfer system. It is way too floored. What if Mahoney half way through this coming season decides he wants to stay with the Eels?  The best thing that could happen to the Eels is that they come last this coming season and the front office then fires the flushing turd and Jr. |

The Dolphins have landed their second major recruit, with Eels forward Ray Stone signing on from 2023.
The 24-year-old utility forward represented the Junior Kangaroos and NSW under-20s and has played 28 NRL games for Parramatta.
Stone is the fourth Eel on the 2022 list to be signed elsewhere for the following year and joins Storm forward Felise Kaufusi as inaugural Dolphins signings for 2023.

The Dolphins are expected to sign Paulo by outbidding the Eels, who reportedly haven’t even tabled Matterson an offer.
