After checking off the captain, I wanted to see if they thought Brad Arthur was the right coach for the club.
“Yes,” Matt said confidently.
I liked that article until I read that

2022 will be no improvement and 2023 will be worse. Another coach at the Eels for a decade with no success. I guess the drought will continue for a few more decades. It does happen at numerous clubs in different football codes. Eels just can't win!!

Pricey should write more about the Eels I like his style, he is very honest, even though he has said nothing about that flushing asshole to date.

VERRILLS TO FILL EELS HOLE
The Roosters are set to land superstar hooker Brandon Smith, leaving Sam Verrills’ future in the Tricolours in serious doubt.
Verrills was set to start in the Roosters number nine jersey this season, but may have to look elsewhere if Smith lands in Bondi Junction.
The 22-year-old will fall down the pecking order at the Roosters, and will loose his starting spot all together if Smith is granted an early release from the Storm to join his new side in 2022.
The Eels are on the lookout for a dummy-half after losing Reed Mahoney for the 2023 season, Verrills could be a potential fit.
Over the past three seasons and with finals experience under his belt, the 22-year-old has shown that he’s more than capable to start in the nine jersey at NRL level.
Most importantly Eels head coach Brad Arthur is reportedly a fan of Sam Verrills.
Mahoney will start at the Bulldogs in 2023, leaving room for Verrills to slot in to the Eels roster, despite being contracted with the Roosters until 2024.
The Daily Telegraph have reported that Verrills may request a release due to being shifted to the bench.
Most importantly with Mahoney gone after the 2022 season as well as Niukore and Papali’i, the Eels will be able to afford Verrils

Even Sterlo has no impact at the Eels. Hard to get anywhere with Yesterdays Heroes, especially when the club wants nothing to do with them. So the Eels will sign a Roosters reject and they get a quality player. No wonder the Roosters changed their name to "Sydney", that's where all players end up, the only team in Sydney.

I maybe the minority, but I care what Pricey has to say. The biggest problem is that lame front office doesnt listen to a word of it. They dont like Pricey and he hates them. Nothing goes nice and smooth with the Eels.
Verrills is a pretty good player but not in the same class as Mahoney.

Nothing goes nice and smooth with the Eels. Verrills is a pretty good player but not in the same class as Mahoney. Mahoney was injured twice this year in June and just before the finals. Maybe he's a player that will spend a lot of his career injured? Of course the Eels are not smart enough to know anything about this and make a decision, but could it be a positive for the Eels in the long run? Both injuries were his shoulder.
