Prediction: Parramatta are sitting second on the ladder after a trouncing of the Broncos last week, they’re playing with a stack of confidence and will be up for this clash with their rivals.
The problem for the Eels last year was they suddenly forgot how to score points. They need their intensity up and not get complacent, because these are the kind of games where you can slouch and Canterbury lift to the occasion. Clint Gutherson is involving himself perfectly and letting the halves set their structure before injecting himself, they’re simply too in-sync to be halted by the Bulldogs right now. Parramatta by 19.

I have a feeling the pony will leave as well. I think he will struggle with the Broncos, because he does not handle pressure well at all. In a week they play the Roosters, who arent as good as they were 2 years ago but are still a top class team. It will show a lot how they perform against them. I am not holding my breath for a win. It wouldnt surprise me if the Eels struggle against the dogs. I cant believe the dogs beat the Sharks. Bulldogs were no chance tonight, they just don't have the players. The scoreboard again this week is impressive, but still disappointed with the error rate. Halftime could have been 22-0 or maybe even 28-0 if the backend of the first half wasn't riddled with mistakes. Eels for and against is competing with the top sides. Roosters will be a big clash, should be a great game. Probably without Nathan Brown, a hip injury. Let's see what the flushing janitor is made of. Most likely toilet rolls.

When you add water to toilet paper what do you get, you get mush. That is what we got from the Eels against the dogs, mush. I was highly unimpressed by that performance. They totally went to sleep and let those lousy dogs into the game, before coming back to some sort of life again. No killer instinked at all. Can the flushing mush even see it? There were some standout individuals like Mohoney, Gutherson, Papaali'i and Sivo but as a unit they were mistake riddled and showed a soft underbelly like the end of last season. Lane was once a dog and on current form he is a dog again, he doesnt deserve to be on the reserves bench at present. I am also not overly impressed by Dylan Brown, I dont think he has done to much this year at all. He is not getting better just older.
