I know that plunger of toilets would never read this. He probably thiks he is above being criticized with his $1million a year pay packet. Do me a favor, if you do ever happen to send a written apology to the club, please send me a copy. Dont worry I know it will never happen. The Janitor should write a letter of apology to the fans for the Eels horrible end losing 32-0 to the Storm. That was embarrassing right from the start with soft defence. When are the Eels going to toughen up?

I dont think the janitor could write an apology letter, because I dont think he can write. I couldnt stand watching that game against the Storm. It just proved to me that the janitor cant coach at all, but has a very good team under him.

Even Manly beat the Storm in Melbourne during the regular season, because they had a decent team and coach, but Parra only had a decent team. Round 1 against the Bulldogs in 2020 should be a win. Actually, I expect a convincing win. What score are you predicting?

I predict a 42 to 3 win to the Eels, anything less and they will get the wooden spoon. The janitor is so lucky that he has a good team under him. It keeps him in a high paying job, and he can fool the masses. He cant fool everyone though. There are a lot of dumb people in the masses, look at this country, it is so full of dumbasses that it may stick with a lousy leader. Lets face it the masses are dumb.

The masses are shaped and moulded by the system. Taught how to think. Only a small minority think outside the square. The Janitor improves from 16th to 5th and most Eels fans believe he should win coach of the year. They see improvement so they think he must be good, but Eels fans need to expand their thoughts and assess whether the toilet cleaner is good enough to win a title and that is what wins coach of the year. Eels should never have won the spoon in 2018, but instead finished just outside the 8, therefore the improvement the following year finishing 5th wasn't that great as most people think. 42-3? Tries are three points again or the Bulldogs kicked a field goal after leading 2-0. LOL

The team on paper is close enough to being able to win a title, just doesnt have the skill set or the defense to achieve that with the janitor. The killer instinct is severely lacking.
You picked up on that well done. The Dogs kicked a field goal down 42-2.

Constitution reform succeeds December 8, 2019 at 2:04pm in NRL
Constitution reform broke through its final barrier to give the Parramatta Leagues Club and its football operation, the chance to re-birth as the kind of modern organisation that it needs to be, moving into the future.
With members finally given the opportunity to express their opinions via electronic and postal voting, administrator and chairman Max Donnelly announced that almost 92 per cent of voting members supported the reforms.
With over 1,600 votes, less than 140 voted against the reforms.
The overwhelming nature of the vote was in itself justification for the reforms. WIth low participation (there are currently more than 25,000 members eligible to vote), general meetings and elections have been exploited by large numbers of “family and friends” votes. While the same hundred-odd votes were recorded against the reforms, these were no longer anywhere near what was needed when the greater membership was given greater opportunity to vote.
Max Donnelly will immediately open up nominations for his initial board of directors. Donnelly will now carry his role thought to the next Annual General Meeting in February, after which he intends to have a merit-based board in place soon after.
I’m obviously delighted. It was eight years ago, that Matt Hollier and I met with Denis Fitzgerald in the Epping Club to try and understand a constitution, that was so very obviously outdated and in desperate need of change. I’ve been through three horrible elections, had my membership taken away from me and copped plenty of crap along the way to get to this point, and it’s basically a bucket list item I can check off now.
However, more importantly, there are so many people who I’ve worked with, or have provided their support and encouragement along the way, including so many of the 1Eyed Eel community. Personally, that has meant a lot to me, and I thank you. Matt is a legend and has been there the entire journey, including doing the whole election fiasco, and also special thanks to Elliott - who has always kept the info on here ticking over when I got busy as well. This issue eventually became something that the entire Eels community got behind and have worked very closely with Chris, Craig and Mitch at TCT and particularly Matt Carroll over on LU.
But a lot of you took on this ambition on as well, and I hope everyone who cast a vote, or helped spread the word, take some pride from the result. It was really was something that was driven from the grassroots of the clubs.
There are some great outcomes from this process - there is the structural separation between the Leagues Club and Football Boards; there are protections from mass upheaval which will provide ongoing stability; there will be two merit-based boards with well-credentialled directors, and all members now have far more ability to vote and have a say in the clubs they love and are passionate about.
Which is not to say there won’t be challenges - the Clubs industry is hurting at the moment, with an across-the-board downturn in gaming revenue; the Club has new competition and it’s regeneration work has probably really only just begun. However, we have a footy team that offers a huge amount of hope, some tremendous initiatives, not the least of which is the Kellyville Centre of Excellence and the opportunity is there now, for Parramatta Leagues and the Eels to grow into something we can all be proud of.

You picked up on that well done. The Dogs kicked a field goal down 42-2. Teams that win premierships, usually build up to that moment over a few years. For example, the Newcastle Knights and Penrith Panthers in the 90's. Do you think the Eels are the same? Knights had Paul Harragon and Andrew Johns and the Panthers Greg Alexander and Mark Geyer. Moses could be that good? Bulldogs have turned into an embarrassment. They need Peter Moore back from the dead.

I love that the dogs are struggling.
Moses is definitely improving, and maybe Johns will be good for him since there isnt a head coach at the Eels. Time will tell with him? If he becomes as dominant as Johns was we definitely have the makings of a champion team. We just need to get the front offices heads out of the toilet bowl, yes, the ones that the janitor will clean up after them???

Moses and Brown together can definitely cause some damage to the opposition, but still need a little improvement against the best teams. Against the weaker to middle range teams they can win those games. Hopefully, Johns can improve their game. Still need to toughen up the forwards or they'll end up in the toilet bowl in the finals. Wonder how the Eels will mentally approach 2020?

Why would the Eels actually get Johns when the area that needs most improvement is the forwards. They are so soft at times it is just criminal. Why not get a forwards coach along with Johns? The only place the janitor will get improvement with this team is at the toilet bowl. They will all be expert at toilet bowl cleaning, but sink like what goes into a toilet on the field with that pretender.

The metres gained was decent, but the defence was ordinary. Don't know how the Janitor is going to fix that? This is why in 2020 the Eels will finish 5th again if they make the finals. Can't see them improving on this year. First 5 games - Bulldogs (Home) Titans (Away) Cowboys (Away) Dragons (Home) Wests Tigers (Away) Bankwest Not a difficult start, but who knows what team will turn up in 2020.

Under the janitor the Eels are incapable of any better than 5th, even though they have an excellent team. Just making up the numbers in the playoffs again. Then again I would not be surprised if they dont even make the playoffs.

They have too many decent players, but I still expect them to crash and burn at the end of the year and lose a few games to weaker opposition. I hope they don't play the Storm in the finals, cause I'm tired of losing to that team. I think I would rather lose to Manly for a change it's been that often with the Storm.

I cant agree with you on the evil empire, but I do understand what you are saying. The Rorters and the Storm will both be a little weaker next season so that may work well for the Eels.
The janitor had to fight for his life this season t get a new contract, that achieved what does he have to fight for next season? He is having the last laugh with 2 more years in place. Even if he gets fired he will still get his money. The janitor is on easy street, I think it will reflect in the teams performance. No playoffs in 2020 for the Eels. There will be a lot of supporters looking for blood and that will all be aimed at the janitor.
