The atmosphere looks so awesome at Eels games. Just imagine 17K at the olympic stadium. What a pathetic joke that would be. 17K at the Olympic Ground is a dead atmosphere. That ground needs at least 35,000. Eels have done well with this new stadium.

the Eerls have a gem of a home ground, they are lucky to have such a great ground, shame about the rest of the Eels setup it needs work.

Winning a wooden spoon at the new stadium would be such a shame. Next game at Bankwest against the Tigers. Tigers home game which is also an Eels home game.

not quite 50%ers due to a home game being in Darwin, which I think they will definitely lose, by a lot.

I hope that Bankwest stays a fortress for the Eels. The old stadium just didnt hold that type of feeling, after years of lack of success.

Bankwest has an incredible atmosphere and Parra respond to the fans at this new stadium. Only one bad game there against the Panthers. Parramatta Stadium looks ordinary and so yesterday when compared to the new stadium.

funny thing is if the Eels had there way, the old stadium would have been a lot like the new one. So it took over 30 years to get what they originally wanted. Mind you this stadium would be better due to all the mod cons.

Mind you this stadium would be better due to all the mod cons. Parra were ready to move into the future in the 1970's, but like you said, they didn't get their way. Parra in the 70's should of at least had a Kezar Stadium type ground. Wooden seats, but a stadium that could seat large crowds and had floodlights. Must have been playing Rugby League in America back then?

where in the States is that Kezar stadium? It looks like it was ahead of its time.

I remember it well in that Dirty Harry movie. That was such a good movie. I have been to Candlestick where the 9ers used to play.
