If the Eels keep playing at home like they have for 2 games they will continue to have large crowds there.

If the Eels keep playing at home like they have for 2 games they will continue to have large crowds there. Over 29,000 against Tigers Over 25,000 against Dragons This year should be the record for highest average crowd attendance thanks to the new ground and a reasonable team. I am so glad the new ground didn't get christened with Steve Kearney or Ricky Stuart as coach and players like Sandow, and all the other wooden spooners.

and for that matter Jarryd Hayne. The Hayne plane is too much of a negative.

I am in the same boat as you, I dont even know why the Eels even attempted to resign him? Glad they couldnt come up with the money he wanted, they dodged a huge bullet there.

The way Parra are performing this year, Hayne is a distant memory. Goes to show that football is a team sport and the club can move on from any player.

2009 it was a once in a lifetime anomaly. Yes generally it is a team sport with no I in team. Hayne was always about himself.

Glad he's gone and Parra were that pathetic not winning games they wanted him back during his NFL career. Parra need a better turnover of quality players.

I am a little surprised you havent heard something about him in Australia? I would have thought he would have made some effort to get a contract with either an NRL team or rugby?
