there probably were more Eels but I was really surprised how many Storm fans there were. They must all be ex pats from NSW and Qld?

for a professional sport the crowds at games in the NRL are terrible at times. You can always get a pretty good crowd at an Eels vs Bulldogs game, not matter how bad both teams are doing.

Yeah, Eels v Bulldogs have heaps of supporters and a great rivalry. Probably never see a Grand Final again between those two.

Well Storm are a one team town, they should have heaps of supporters. Maybe AFL supporters who feel disgruntled with the AFL even though I don't see any problems with their game.

I dont know about that, it might be a long time from now but I think there is a possibility of it happening again. If so I hope it would happen in my lifetime, as long as the Eels win?

I don't think it will happen, because we no longer have just Sydney teams. Still the same amount of teams as before, but the interstate teams will always appear in the GF. Very rare to see two Sydney teams in the GF these days.

good point. It is a lopsided competition with so many teams from Sydney and a few scattered over the rest of the country. I dont think Melbourne will always be strong and all the teams in Qld have had there downs even Brisbane.

May never see that again.
