do the Eels have any say at all over that stadium? I believe it is owned by the state government, and maybe they are all bulldog fans so the stands will be names after bulldog legends? The statue outside will be Terry Lamb? LOL

a few of those clubs are still in the 50's. I cant believe the backward thinking in that sport at times. When is the whole game going to come into the 21st century.

Sydney is always growing. Forget the International market. Rugby League never became big on a global scale. Different to Rugby Union.

Better than any Bulldogs name.

sure looking good with the sod. It would be horrible if any of that stadium is named after any bulldog.

Rugby union is only big on a global scale at international level, therefore they only really need a couple stadiums max per country.
Rugby League has never become big on a global scale because it has never been run by anyone worth a shit, quite frankly.

And rugby league is only known and / or supported in the north of England, east coast of Australia and certain parts of New Zealand. Would be awesome if rugby league was a world sport like soccer. But not enough players and supporters on an international level. Even in Australia the quality of players / games can be average.

I thought the England Vs New Zealand game here is Denver was a good start, but they just come up with to little. I wonder if they will ever have another game here in Denver to work up even more support after the last game. It is never promoted well.

Firstly, Americans don't even know rugby league exists and second, the NFL is the number 1 football code in America. Maybe the Eels will visit Denver one day. Eels v Bulldogs!! But like you say, the game needs to be promoted. Jarryd Hayne joining the NFL gave rugby league a minor promotion in the States, but that's about it.

should have had earlier home games there, dont know why they didnt? Not sure. Maybe the Stadium won't be ready by Round 1. That's only two weeks away. Parra have been very fortunate with home grounds over the years. Parramatta Stadium was way ahead of it's time when compared to other grounds and now they have another brand new stadium. Manly are still playing at a ground not suitable for the 1980's!!

I hate Brookvale Oval. The ground is terrible and the supporters are even worse. I always loved watching Manly lose. Unfortunately is didnt ever happen enough.

unless you support the 9ers most people would have never heard of Jarryd Hayne in all honesty. There was not a big thing made about him coming to play in the NFL.
