When was Parra's last major signing? I'm talking about a quality player, a key player!! Jason Taylor (2001)? Not including any juniors or players that came through the ranks at Parra. I'm talking about an all ready established good player that was still youngish from another club. Although, Jason Taylor was in his last season in 2001.

very good question, when you think about it they have not signed any great established players. That is embarrassing. I think that would be the fault of the management at the club. Poorly run club.

Very poorly run. And just like Australian Prime Minister's, how many times has the administration changed!! That's a sign of instability and failure!!

in all honesty I dont know much about what is going on in Australia with politics. Bob Hawke who was a pretty cool dude was dumped for Keating, who was a jerk. I remember there was a woman Prime Minister who got to power by some guy who was dumped. See my knowledge is not good.
Back to the point, not many heads of the Eels get dumped while in power, maybe that should change. Everyone they have is a lousy CEO.

No good leaders anymore, whether they're politicians or rugby league bosses. The days of talent are gone.

it is now all greed, greed, greed. The politicians here are lame ducks that dont support there contingent, only themselves.
The NRL is miserably run by that bulldog asshole.

No more legends. Stadium update - Eels-Wests Tigers Easter Monday clash to sell out months in advance Still three months from the game, only 12,000 seats remain at the newly named Bankwest Stadium with 18,000 having already allocated to Eels season ticket holders and sponsors. Parramatta and Wests Tigers members and Eels junior league clubs will get the first option to purchase tickets with the remainder open to the general public on Tuesday. It will sell out within hours. “No game has ever sold out that far in advance,” declared rugby league historian David Middleton. All eastern grand stand sections for Parramatta’s season ticket holders sold out weeks ago.

that really was a substandard shitty ground, but for some reason I really liked it, same with Lidcombe Oval I wish I got the chance to see the ground before it was burnt down. I was too young in the 70's to attend games.

There has to be a better way than having politicians controlling the madness?
It does not surprise me that the first game at the new stadium will be sold out months in advance. If I was over there I would have purchased tickets.

If I was over there I would have purchased tickets. Politicians are worse than Hayne!! Would be interesting to see if the first game was a sell out against the Titans or Cowboys. The NRL deliberately scheduled Eels v Tigers to save themselves from embarrassment for Game 1 at the new stadium.

I would have thought it would be a sell out against anyone. The first game at a brand new stadium, I would be all over that. I wish I went to the first game at the previous Parramatta Stadium, what a game that was unless you supported the Dragons.
Hayne would probably be more honest than politicians.
