the trouble is that the CEO of the NRL is a Dogs man through and through and they will get away with murder. Greenberg loves the Dogs. Their players always escape lengthy suspensions with the judiciary.

Funny how most of the NRL Ceo's seem to come from Manly and the Dogs, now it is Greenberg, it used to be Authurson from Manly? How come the scum teams rule the NRL?

He played for Manly in the early 50's. Only 3 seasons. He must of been a better administrator than a player. The scum teams rule the NRL, because the scum teams do produce quality. Parra haven't produced anything since 1986!!

In 1986 they were run by a scumbag in Fitzgerald, so didnt even have quality then. I dont know if you should call it quality rather smart.

But you can't even credit the success Parra did have to Fitzgerald. He was more about what Parra did off the field than on.

You can only credit Jack Gibson for the premierships, even John Monie's win was due to Gibson. He was special.

W may have won 6 in a row under Gibson, up until Ray Price and Michael Cronin retired. Those 2 retiring was the start of the downturn of the Eels.

Yeah, never replaced Cronin and Price, even to this day. We will never see players like that and a coach like Gibson ever again, even if Parra do win another title.

no those 3 were one in a billion, so I guess that means 3 in 3 billion. All the stars aligned beautifully back then, and it has never happened to this day again.

you never know history does repeat sometimes? Winning 3 Premierships in a row these days is too difficult. No club has won back to back titles since the 1992 and 1993 Brisbane Broncos.

I hope nobody ever matches them again with 3 in a row. That is something to be really proud of.
