The trouble with the Emperor was as soon and those legends retired he wanted nothing to do with them. He was a selfish prick.
The Emperor only wanted 3rd graders so he could put them down as earning $300000 pay them $100000 and pocket the rest. This is my theory anyway.

That guy pocketed heaps of money from the club for no great results. Ray Price said he was the cancer of the club. NRL.com Dylan Brown agrees to new $2m Eels extension Parramatta rookie Dylan Brown has agreed to a new three-year $2 million extension with the Eels to keep him at the club until at least 2023. NRL.com understands the Eels and Brown's management came to an agreement on Tuesday afternoon to ensure the young Kiwi doesn't depart the Eels despite plenty of interest from rival clubs. The Eels are expected to upgrade Brown's contract for 2020 and have offered him around $650,000 a year for the following three years. Brown made his NRL debut in round 1 and contributed four tries and five try assists in 15 games. He scored twice in Parramatta's record-breaking 58-0 finals win over the Broncos in the first round of the playoffs, and represented New Zealand in October's World Cup 9s tournament.

wow, oh my god the grave digger has already done something good. 10 points for a great effort. Keep up the good work and you want be digging your own grave.
The Emperor hated Ray Price and must of hated the fact that a statue of Price was put up at the the older Parramatta Stadium. What a slap in the Emperors face under his watch.

Price deserves a statue. Ray Price was Parramatta. An absolute champion. Fitzgerald should have a burial plot somewhere near Bankwest to celebrate his death!! Eels Official Website Eels upgrade and extend Oregon Kaufusi contract Parramatta Eels Club young front row forward Oregon Kaufusi has had his contract upgraded and extended for two years until the end of the 2022 NRL season. Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football, Mark O’Neill said, “Oregon is another important signing for us, he’s a very talented player and an exceptional young man with great character. He’s come through our elite pathways system and it’s wonderful to see so many of our juniors finding their feet in the NRL. “He is having a strong off-season, and will continue to develop alongside the likes of experienced teammates Junior Paulo and Reagan Campbell Gillard.” Oregon made his NRL debut in 2018 and played another nine games in 2019, scoring his first try during the opening game of Bankwest Stadium. He has played in the Parramatta Eels Harold Matthews and SG Ball teams, and represented NSW 16’s, 18’s, and 20s, as well as the Australian Schoolboys team. Eels Official Website Johns added to Blue & Gold coaching staff The Parramatta Eels can confirm the addition of the eighth Immortal Andrew Johns to the Blue & Gold coaching staff ahead of the 2020 season. the grave digger is on a bit of an upward swing at present. He may have already done more in his short time that Bernie did over his long weekend stay at the Eels. He really was a dead man walking.

Don't think I saw any pictures of Bernie with the players, but maybe that did happen? Good to see the Grave Digger amongst the players!! Not sure if the signing of Andrew Johns will benefit the team though? Might need a skills coach for the forwards. Les Boyd could talk to the players about toughness!! And probably foul play if he was to be involved.

I dont think I ever saw a picture of Bernie at all, must have been at his weekend hideaway the whole time???
I actually think Nathan Hindmarsh would make a good forwards coach. He knew how to defend, and he might be able to instill what he did into the forwards we have now??? That is the biggest problem with the forward at the Eels there defense has been weak for years.

Weekend at Bernie's was the only picture. Hindmarsh could work? How tough have the Storm and Roosters been in defence over the years, rock solid. I haven't seen the Eels like that since Dymock, Smith, Pay and McCracken. Those four were great for up and coming forwards like Hindmarsh and Cayless. Official Eels website Michael Jennings re-signs with Eels The Parramatta Eels have today re-signed Michael Jennings on a two year contract until the end of the 2021 season. Michael formed a strong combination with Maika Sivo on the left side this year, making a major contribution to his teammate's try scoring record. Parramatta Eels Club General Manager of Football Mark O'Neill said, "Securing Michael is an important component to our roster management going forward. "His skill and experience really contributed to our much improved performance in 2019 and he will add enormous value in the future as we strive for premiership success considering he knows what it takes to perform on the highest stage." Michael made his NRL debut in 2007, he has represented both Australia and Tonga at international level, he played in the NSW Origin team and the NRL All Stars.

I dont know if Hindmarsh would want to do the gig beecause he is committed to TV, but I think he would be a good one.
Good to see that Jennings finally signed the dotted line, he is a definite asset.

Jennings was always going to re-sign because there wasn't much interest from other clubs and those other clubs would have signed him by now if he was leaving. Anymore possible signings for 2020? I wonder if Parra have any left over money for another signing.

I wouldnt mind them getting Jai Arrow. The forwards would be looking really good with him. I dont think they are even making an effort to get him??? David Fifita would be a great one as well, we will have something good there for many years to come.

David Fifita would be a great one as well, we will have something good there for many years to come. Those two would be great and we haven't seen many representative players at the Eels in the last decade. But I think those players are staying at the Titans and Broncos, two teams that are desperate for good players and therefore would have the money to keep them. Although, there are reports that Bulldogs want Fifita and Bunnies want Arrow for 2021.

A few teams would be chasing him, but like you said the rorters will keep him. Easy to keep someone when you dont have to go by the rules.
