Both the janitor and SK have pretty good teams to work with, SK does nothing with his team at all, and the janitor did manage a playoff win. By a nose hair I would just give the janitor a better rating. Goes to show like the dearth of loser CEO's at the club, the coaches are in about the same league. Wow, do the Eels have a lot to learn. If the Eels did sign BS what would he honestly have to offer. The game has past him by. Yes, I think he is better than the janitor, one lives in the past and the other cleans up a great toilet, that just isnt going to get the Eels anywhere. Kearney is the New Zealand Kiwis coach. How did he get that gig? Because he's from New Zealand? Kearney beats the Janitor on the rep scene, cause no way in hell will the Janitor ever coach at rep level. Brian Smith is the past and you can never go back, instead just keep moving forward. And I don't want to remember on a regular basis of that tragic ending to the 2001 season. Too many heartbreaks with BS.

how many other teams can you discuss who have had a run of deadbeat coaches and CEO's. The Eels take the cake and eat it as well. The NZ coach now is Micheal McGuire, the Tigers coach. SK got fired from that gig.

Bulldogs drop off the chase as Latrell responds to scrutiny
Canterbury CEO Andrew Hill says the Bulldogs will not be pursuing Roosters centre Latrell Mitchell as he tests his value on the open market.
Mitchell has also gone on the front foot, posting an Instagram story to reassure Roosters fans he intends to honour his contract.
"Thank you to everyone that's on my side and are supporting me. I really do appreciate it. Doesn't go unnoticed," he wrote.
"Just want to clear up anything that is going on in the media!! I still have a year with the Sydney Roosters. I just want to spend some time with my family an (sic) enjoy my break, is that too much to ask for?"
The Bulldogs have been linked with Mitchell for much of 2019 but they have moved to douse links with the 22-year-old after the international held a meeting with a Canterbury official in recent weeks.
"Usually we don’t make comment around our recruitment and retention strategies," Hill said.
"However, with all the speculation around this matter we thought it was the right thing to do by everyone to confirm we won’t pursue an interest in Latrell Mitchell."
The Bulldogs' public comments come following a recruitment and retention committee meeting involving Hill, coach Dean Pay and football manager Steve Price on Friday.
The club remains well and truly in the market for at least one marquee player in 2021 when its salary cap pressure eases further, but most of its 2020 cap has already been spent.
Canterbury’s retention spree has resulted in Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Lachlan Lewis and Renouf Tuomonga re-signing in the past week.
The Roosters remain open to granting Mitchell a release from the final year of his contract after withdrawing their extension offer on Tuesday.Bulldogs were never going to get his signature!!

SK probably only got the job because he was born and raised in NZ. When he first got the NZ job he was co-coach with Bennett and that worked quite well. Then Bennett got the England job and SK was lost all by himself with poor results. Hell of a bad coach to the point that the janitor is better by a nose hair.

I remember when SK was coach at Parra and most Eels fans wanted him gone. You can't fool the fans!! We all know quality or lack of when we see it. No one was whinging in the 80's, but the last decade has been unacceptable. Are there any recently retired players who can coach? I guess that's never possible to determine before they coach a team.

I still think Anderson was a good coach but because he was hired by Fitzgerald the the following fool CEO had to get rid of him.
Tim Sheens is still coaching in England but I think he is probably past it. Fittler can coach, but he probably wouldnt want to have anything to do with the Eels as a Panthers junior. I dont think you have to have been a player to be a coach.

Probably better he left anyway, cause he would be just another dud coach we would be bagging today, if he was given a 5 year plan. Can anyone deliver a premiership? It's like trying to win lotto out Parra way!! Tim Sheens would be the same as Brian "choker" Smith, past the expiry date. State of Origin coaches are laughable - I don't think Freddy would make a good coach. The players in no time would be on the drink and getting into trouble.

It is looking like Tim Smith and assistant Jason Taylor are the likely next coaches, we couldnt possibly have capable coaches as we are talking about the Eels.

I'm worried the Janitor will be resigned again in two years time, because Parra may make the finals either next year or the year after. The Janitor was even resigned after winning the wooden spoon. For some strange reason, finals or wooden spoon have no difference to the Eels front office when it comes to the Janitor. A cool million a season just for being in attendance. Eels mustn't operate in the private sector.

Maybe this new CEO is already awake to the janitor, hopefully he will only hire him for toilet duties. The janitor is in his element around them. He is definitely not in his element around elite athletes. Can the new CEO see that? I sure hope like hell he can. H4 is only new and I will give him a chance but I sure hope he isnt a continuation of the who's who of losers?

Probably thinks the Janitor is a great coach. I bet we have ten years of the toilet cleaner, 2014-2024. 10 year plan.

another BS decision, I really hope you are wrong on that. The Eels really need to move on and get there head out of the toilet. Toilets serve a purpose, but the Eels need to forget about where shit goes and move on.

We'll be stuck with him for a long time!! The Janitors marriage must be stress free and a walk in the park!! Hi honey, I'm home, I came last and won the spoon, but we'll still earn a million dollars, while other people work hard and produce results, but fail to pay their debts. LOL

if he is a true Eels man he should come to reality and fire himself. Is he really earning a $million a year? What an Eels farce that is. Damn they are stupid. I bet his wife loves spending all that mullah.

I bet his wife loves spending all that mullah. Mrs Janitor is laughing all the way to the bank on her husbands failures, a wooden spoon and a being smashed by the Storm, 32-0. Her home does not have one premiership trophy!! The Janitor only made the top 8 this year, because the Eels were excited over the new stadium, but that novelty will wear off.
