Both those teams would destroy the Eels in the playoffs. The Storm are not looking as strong as the Roosters at present, but Bellamy is a smart coach. They will come on strong.

It's really either the Storm or Roosters to win. Storm have Cameron Smith and the Roosters are such a fast and mistake free team. Eels not in the same class.

I think there are only 2 other teams have have any chance at all of holding up the trophy, and that is the Raiders and Rabbits, with maybe at a long stretch the Evil Empire.
Gutherson is talking up the Eels like they actually have a chance. That is a joke. They could not even beat the dogs at home. They should be embarrassed rather than talk themselves up.

I don't give Rabbitohs a chance. I think they're gone, been losing to many games and struggled to put the Broncos away. Raiders are a young team, that could work against them. I knew once Parra talked themselves up, they'd lose. A bunch of bullshit artists!! Lol They probably make up other stuff about sleeping with heaps of girls.

I tend to agree with you on the Rabbits. Were very good earlier in the season. I still give the Raiders a bit of a chance. I just dont think any other team will beat the Roosters and Storm so the same GF again. It works out good to know how to cheat the system? They may know how to cheat the system but both teams are well coached as well. I wish we had a coach.

Their players get away with wrestling and lying on the tackled player for too long. Other teams do this as well, but the Storm are the best at slowing the opposition down. Storm v Roosters Grand Final. Roosters will go back to back.

all this year results in who is the better cheat. Maybe we will see Storm vs Roosters GF's for the next 10 years.

If every team has the same salary cap, meaning every team is on the same level, how can the Roosters and Storm appear in the majority of Grand Finals in the past 20 years? The Storm have already been caught for cheating.

The Storm got caught but have become wiser due to getting caught. The Eels got caught and they have not become wiser. Credit to the Roosters, they have never been caught and are doing a great job of cheating.

Credit to the Roosters, they have never been caught and are doing a great job of cheating. Being caught in a big way, generally comes about by a disgruntled employee at the club deciding to squeal to seek revenge. That's how the Bulldogs in 2002 and Storm in 2010 were caught. Roosters obviously look after their people very well.

I am sure the Storm does the same with there employees these days as well. I wonder if the Eels are treating there employees well enough to cheat these days? The other thing is that the less people that know about the cheating the better. You cant satisfy everyone all the time.

If Parra are cheating they should give it away, because they are terrible at it. When they cheat, they don't win Premierships. Interesting article this morning - Brisbane to get new NRL team, existing clubs at risk of axing
Sydney Morning Herald
Cronulla, Manly and the Gold Coast are at risk of being axed from the NRL as the Nine Network pushes for a new Brisbane rugby league team.
The broadcaster's director of sport Tom Malone wants to axe one existing club to make way for a new club in the Queensland capital by 2023 with the final call to be made as early as December this year.
News Corp reports that the Sharks, Sea Eagles and the Titans are the sides who are most at risk of the chop.
"That could come from another team being relocated there, or better still another club being discontinued and a new club established in Brisbane," Malone said.
"In a perfect world you'd probably have one or two less teams.
What clubs should go? I'm not going to get into that one. It's a hard decision but probably one that needs to be made in the longer term interests of the game."
Malone says he prefers the option of axing an existing club rather than adding another club because having 17 teams and a bye each week would increase costs without generating any "incremental revenue".
NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg reportedly met with Queensland Premier Annastasia Palaszczuk on Friday to discuss a new Brisbane team.
Foxtel chief executive Patrick Delany supports a second team in the River City but doesn't believe in axing an existing club.
I hate Manly, but I still think they are good for the game. Would like to see them still be around and even have a decent stadium. Punt the Sharks or Titans.

I would love to see the Evil Empire gone. They are responsible for North Sydney no longer being around, they deserve this. I actually cant even believe that they are being mentioned as a possibility. They would have to be the most successful club over the past 45 years. I can understand the Sharks, because they are broke half the time and the Titan who just arent competitive. I am sure the Broncos would not like that.

Manly have proven more than any other club their worthiness, being the most successful in the past half century. I think Sharks are most likely to be punted - small supporter base, financially a mess and from an area that will never be invaded by another football code. Titans may just need some time to become successful, although it's not looking good. Broncos would hate the idea of another club in Brisbane. Look what happened to the South Queensland Crushers. Broncos would not want another club intruding on their juniors. Although, I have read that not everyone in this city likes the Broncos and the Broncos existence killed the Brisbane Rugby League competition. Clubs like Ipswich, Redcliffe, Wynnum-Manly lost a lot of popularity and coverage since the Broncos came along.

I totally agree with you on the Evil Empire, but I would love to see them booted from the game. I am sure anyone who has anything to do with North Sydney would agree with me. I guess it is good to have a team that you really dislike, but there are still the dogs. To me it is a toss of the coin who I hate more each season. This season I dislike the Evil Empire more.
Brisbane would have most of southern Qld to pick from as local juniors, but it seems a lot of the best go to the Storm. The Storm must have some awesome talent scouts, something that the Eels are sorely lacking in.
