If you snorted the sidewalks on the Gold Coast you would get high. OK, so that is why I thought it was the forth time around for Gold Coast. It wouldnt be a bad place to live, the weather is nice but a bit to humid for me in summer. The Eels like you said should beat the Dogs, but being the Eels things dont always go to the script. I am going to trow this out there just for the hell of it, but if the Eels do end up in the top 4, and the luck of the draw goes there way, maybe they can do a bit more than we both expect? Having said that in all honesty, if they do make the top 4 I think they will be done 2nd week of the playoffs. LOL I drove through the Gold Coast a year ago and it had that vibe. Gangsters paradise!! Only a few deals would pay off your mortgage on a 2 million dollar home. I prefer Brisbane City. But yeah, the humidity in summer can be difficult, but you do get used to it. It's actually been cold this winter in Brisbane. Colder than last year and windy. Imagine if Parra won the Grand Final. Surely this will not happen!! If I'm a Dogs or Sea Eagles fan, I'm sitting back laughing and saying, "don't worry, they'll never win". I don't think Parra will win anyway, because even if they are a chance the referees will not favour Parra and we all know, penalties and decisions can determine a game.

I dont think the Eels will win the GF either but it is sure nice to dream. Better than saying that there is always next year.
When I was 19 I went to the Gold Coast and it was a hell of a lot of fun. The nightlife was awesome and I didnt come across a single gangster. That is the type of place that gangsters like to be and I am sure there are plenty there.

When you were 19 years old, the world was a decent place. A lot has changed since then. I was on the Gold Coast for schoolies in 1992 and the place was innocent and just fun. A lot has changed since 1992. Eels v Bulldogs, Thursday night. Early week game. Can the Eels make top 4?

The world has changed a lot, and definitely not for the better. Shame about that.
hopefully the results will go the Eels way for a change. I dont have all that much faith in the Eels but I think they will win this week by 8 points. Not a great result against a sub-standard team, but good to get the win.

Parra's execution was bad. Their defence was good, but with the ball they just couldn't finish off. That game tonight was the end of their season. Can't take that performance into the finals.

I used someone else's example but changed it to suit my feelings, so I guess you could say that is my team.
I wouldnt say the Eels defense was all that good. If the Storm or Roosters were playing against them they would have got hammered. There offense was non-existent. The Eels are far from an 80 minute team and in actuality are not really worthy of making the playoffs. I hated that game.

Can't believe, that Parra still have no player that can turn the game around when they are in a deep hole. Just watching that game, you knew they weren't going to score again. They are either good or bad right from the start. I think Broncos in Brisbane will roll Parra. Broncos always have enthusiasm, regardless of where they are on the ladder. Broncos by 16.

I agree with you about the Eels. I was screaming at the computer I was so frustrated with there performance. Now even Bankwest isnt a fortress for them. That was a really sad effort by a team that could be in 4th place. What more do they need to inspire them???

Parra will have to lift their game up there on Friday. Broncos are never easybeats. Can they still make top 4? Maybe the next two games will be half hearted now that they have made the finals. Broncos and Panthers can't catch Parra on the ladder now. They both lost and are more than 4 points behind.

the Sharks can catch the Eels, after they lose the last 2 games of the regular season. The Sharks by then will probably have a better for and against. I dont really want to see the Eels make the 4, they arent worthy of that. It will be embarrassing seeing them play against another team in the top 4. They would likely play the Storm and look what the Storm did to them in Brisbane. I dont want to see the Eels going out being embarrassed. They cant or refuse to play for 80 mins and that is killing them. Not to mention that they play stupid. I could keep going on and on about there faults. There arent really all that many positives except for the fact that they made the playoffs.

Sharks play Raiders and Wests Tigers. Eels play Broncos and Sea Eagles. All four results would have to go against Parra. It's possible, but I think Sharks won't catch Parra. Eels v Broncos will be an interesting game. Broncos have a lot to play for. If Parra put in a 50% effort, they'll lose.

wow, he sounds like a total dumb ass, how embarrassing. 2 More years of that.
I think the Eels will get hammered this week against a team that has a lot to play for and they are away from home. Couldnt even win at home against a team that is poor at best.
