Even though you probably support NSW, I am sure you get a lot from all the Qld supporters in Brisbane. Do they still call NSW cockroaches? I feel a bit uneasy with this game against the Tigers. It would probably be the most important game of the season for the Eels. Hopefully Manly lose by the big score and we win by a big score and get ahead of the evil empire. Tigers by 7 Yeah, Brisbane is full of QLD supporters. Maroon jerseys everywhere during Origin. NSW are still cockroaches. Funny mascot that one, but a cockroach can survive a nuclear war. Would have to be the toughest and most resilient mascot going around. Would like to see Manly win their first spoon, but that will never happen, unless BA coaches the Sea Eagles. Another dig at BA!! Tigers by 2!! By Friday, maybe Parra by 2?

That was a great game the SOO game 3. I thought Norman went OK, not great but OK.
I think the Eels Tigers game should be pretty entertaining. Hopefully even more so when the Eels win. Tigers by 1.

QLD almost came back to win the series. Scores were level with a minute to go. Yeah, Norman went OK, but he never made the side when Thurston and Cronk were playing. Brett Kimmorley on NRL.com tipped the Tigers. Maybe an upset? Surely if Parra play their best they'll blow the Tigers off the park.

put it this way, can you honestly predict that the Eels will play there best??? The eels are too unpredictable.
Norman is not in the same class as Thurman and Cronk. They are in an another atmosphere compared to Norman.

Parra were more structured and had a game plan. If Wests Tigers kicking (conversions) game was on it would have been a closer game though. Taka hat trick - great game. Dylan Brown had a shocker!! Still need a few more forwards, I thought Parra struggled to make ground, whereas Tigers made far more metres. Enough talk about Norman, he's a dope!! LOL

the Eels for the first 30 mins were pretty bad. I agree that the Eels were the better team in the end, but wow, there defense is soft at times. I wouldnt hold high hopes for the future with that game. The good thing is that they are more entrenched in the 8. Agree Dylan Brown was terrible. They need more props, and will need a really good second rower after Ma'u leaves. I hope BA isnt getting a big head after that game.

BA will play any achievement down, because he knows he won't win the comp. No point talking anything up, when you'll crash and burn at the end of the year. Good to see the teams outside the 8, 4 points behind on the ladder with a bad for and against. Parra might be playing finals footy this year? Then that soft defence will appear!!

That defense is way to soft. I would say that the softest tries I have seen the past few years would be against the Eels. Look what the Storm did to them, on a neutral ground. If the Eels play them in the playoffs in Melbourne, the score could be worse.

Further, lets hope for a huge win against the Evil Empire on Sunday. The Evil Empire have overachieved this season and it is time for them to come back to a bit of reality, Lets hope the Eels show it too them?

I think Parra have turned the corner and the second half of the year will be an improvement, but playing away from home, that worries me. Haven't won 4 in a row since 2017, that year Parra made top 4.

I dont think the Eels will make the top 4 this year, but as I have said from the start of the season I think they will make the 8. If they miss out on the 8 now it will be a gutless effort.

I think they will make the 8 this year, because I can feel a crash and burn coming later in the season. Might get pumped by the Storm 50 plus or Ricky's Raiders will embarrass us in the finals.

I hope we beat the Raiders in the finals, but it will be in Canberra and our record there is horrendously bad. This week the Evil Empire by 7.

I think Parra might win against Manly. They're on a winning streak at the moment playing with confidence, but still only a 60 minute team. I got a feeling Manly will win an uneven penalty count, which could determine the result.

60 minute teams says it all. The evil empire would be an 80 minute team. It is however time that the overachieving ways of the evil empire comes to an end.
