I agree with you about Qld. What a bad move selecting Norman. He has proven to go missing in big games.
Take that back, you just put the mock on the Eels. I do have to say one thing, I think it is a better team than at the start of the season. On paper anyway.

On paper, Parra are an OK looking team and if Moses and Gutho fire every game, that will go a long way to winning. Need the Broncos to beat the Sharks this weekend, so Parra can jump the Sharks on the ladder. |

The only certain thing I can say about the Eels is that a not a 80 min team. They sure arent easy to predict on the field, they are either very good or very bad.
I know I said the team on paper looks better now than at the start of the season, I didnt in any way want to insinuate that they are a very good team on paper, I just think they are better than at the start of the season. They have a long way to go to become a very good team.

I agree. Parra at their best can match it with the top teams, but can be quite horrible at times. Should have beaten Cowboys and Panthers. |

7th Eels 18 +11
8th Sharks 16 +18
9th Tigers 16 -48
10th Panthers 16 -93
11th Dragons 14 -56
Sharks still have a game to play, but Tigers and Dragons lost.

Awesome that the Tigers lost last night, and if we beat them next week we will be 4 points up on them.
I cant believe how poorly the Dragons are going this year, I dont think it has much to do with Norman who is playing quite well.

Dragons are ordinary this year after a decent start. Pathetic crowd at Wollongong against the Storm, but it was a Thursday night. Sorry, I still don't like Norman. |

I am not as confident about beating the Tigers. I thought they played well against the Roosters. I know the Eels destroyed them last time we played them, but I dont expect that again. Yes, the game is at Bankwest again, but an away game.
I dont like Norman either, but he has played quite well for the Dragons.

It sure was a great weekend for results this weekend, all the results fell into place perfectly. Great that the Sharks lost.

NSW at home will be too strong. Great weekend. Parra are 7th on the ladder. Beat the Tigers and cement a top 8 spot, until BA's coaching kicks in and then lose 6 straight. |

Brisbane / QLD had it's fair share of success. How many in a row did QLD win over the past 15 years!! NSW have to win occasionally. Geez, I'm sounding like a true Queenslander!! LOL I think you're right about the Tigers. I might go into this game with my usual we'll lose outlook, it's been working. I thought Parra would lose to the Rabbitohs, Broncos and Raiders, but Parra won. Tigers by 8. |

Even though you probably support NSW, I am sure you get a lot from all the Qld supporters in Brisbane. Do they still call NSW cockroaches?
I feel a bit uneasy with this game against the Tigers. It would probably be the most important game of the season for the Eels. Hopefully Manly lose by the big score and we win by a big score and get ahead of the evil empire. Tigers by 7
