whoever did it is 100% correct. Getting his new contract and the team has done nothing but go backwards. The facts dont lie. We are stuck with him for 2 more years. Well, we can write off this year and next year. BA will of then done 7 years!! FFS!! You only allow a coach to do 7 years if you are playing finals footy most years. BA laying down the law - Eels: Brad Arthur has taken a hard line after last week's shock loss to Penrith, dropping Tim Mannah, Brad Takairangi, Daniel Alvaro and George Jennings to the reserves. Michael Jennings is back at right centre, Josh Hoffman moves to right centre, while Blake Ferguson is back on the wing. Kane Evans has been named to start at prop, Manu Ma'u shifts from lock to back row, Marata Niukore drops to the bench, while Tepi Moeroa is back from concussion and is the new starting lock.

after this year, there will only be 2 more years for a 5 year plan, so we are 7.5 years away from the end of a 5 year plan?
I dont understand that if you drop a player for playing poorly that you put them on the reserve bench. Does putting a player on the reserve bench make him fit to play first grade?

It all means BA can't coach. LOL There mustn't be anyone better who can coach so why not resign BA and hope for the best. I think that's what Parra have done. Good pension plan BA has got going on at Parra. He'll be coaching in a wheelchair 30 years from now.

I would have gone after Flanagan who is suspended for 1 year. He is an Eels junior as well.
the one thing I will say about BA, his heart is in the right place he bleeds blue and gold, the trouble is he cant coach.

Flanagan would be a better coach and won a premiership with the Sharks. But wasn't he involved in performance enhancing drugs? The supplements program. I bet if Parra tried that they would fail yet again at cheating and O.D. before the game.

Rabbitohs were down 4 players due to Origin, but it's great to win!! Not a bad effort either from Parra. Regained some form they had before being smashed by the Storm.

the effort against the Rabbits was quite good. If they keep playing that way they will win a few more games. They need to tighten up the defense for 80 mins though.

The 2nd half of the season is a better draw, because Parra don't play, Storm, Roosters and Rabbitohs again. Remaining games Sharks away Broncos home Raiders away Tigers home Sea Eagles away Warriors home Dragons away Knights home Titans away Bulldogs home Broncos away Sea Eagles home Parra's problem this year has been winning away games. Lost in Newcastle, Canberra, Brisbane and Townsville.

how come they play the Raiders away again?
I have to say if they play like they did against the Rabbits or the rest of the season I think they will make the playoffs. The trouble is they are so inconsistent.

The trouble is they are so inconsistent. Parra are taking their home game to Darwin. I consider that an away game. There is a good chance Parra will make the 8 because every one of those games is winnable. No Storm, Rabbitohs or Roosters.

I dont like that they do that Darwin thing. They dont get very good crowds. Waste of time I think. Good that they try and promote the game but Darwin people dont seem to care enough.
If they go back to playing like they did the 3 weeks before the Souths game they dont have a hope of making the playoffs.

I remember everyone making jokes about Parra taking their home game against Canberra to Darwin to avoid Eels fans going after Ricky Stuart for leaving the way he did. That was 5 years ago. I don't think they'll make the playoffs, but their run home isn't that bad.

Ricky Stuart is a real prick, but he is ancient history. Another great decision to hire him that backfired. Parramatta bow your head in shame, cant even sign a reputable coach.
The Darwin thing is an advantage to the Raiders who we couldnt score a point against last time. Raiders by 14

Raiders by 14 Ricky Stuart won't win a premiership with the Raiders and he only won at the Roosters because he inherited a great team. This weekend - Sharks by 10 (Parra can't play away from home).

against the Panthers they couldnt even play at home, that was such a poor effort. I give the Eels somewhat of a chance against the Sharks but will probably lose by 2
