they might be the evil empire, but they are better run than the Eels. Even at there worst, they are still quite well run.

it is incredible how many Eels players have gone over to the evil empire. I know it is a professional sport, and you go where the money is best, but, can they really feel good about themselves going to such an evil club?

David "wolf man" Williams was another and a Parra junior. Will Gutho deliver Parra a Premiership? Manly wanted him too!!

Gutho will need a few better players around him if he is ever able to deliver a premiership to the Eels.

Unfortunately Moses is not consistent enough. One in three games he might have a good game. That just isnt good enough. The Eels desperately need some good props.

He is still young, but I'm worried we have already seen his best. Champion players are generally really good from the start of their career. Yeah, need a few more forwards. Timmy is leaving, Parra can use his money.

I totally agree with you on Moses. I think he has improved somewhat from last year, but how much improvement is left in him?
We need a couple Fui Fui style forwards, big and tough, and always making good ground and quick play the balls.

We need a couple Fui Fui style forwards, big and tough, and always making good ground and quick play the balls. Moses seems to be better without Corey Norman. He's been given more responsibility which has helped him grow. Norman just got in the way. I think Moses will still improve, but I'm not totally confident. Fui Fui was a monster. Great player. That try in the 2009 GF was awesome.

I am hoping Moses will improve, but like you not totally confident. I love that Norman is gone, we are a better team without him. He has been playing well for the Dragons though.
Junior Paulo is OK but not great and Evans is a bit of a slug. We seriously need some great props if this team wants to get to the next level.

Like Geoff Bugden and Terry Leabeater in 1986. They were monsters.

A couple monster props that work hard would be awesome. We very rarely win the forward challenge.

A couple monster props that work hard would be awesome. We very rarely win the forward challenge. At times Parra do struggle to make ground in their own half. Can't stand those sets, 20-30 metres in 5 tackles. Ferguson and other backs then have to be used.

as you said the forward make that 20 to 30 meters in 5 tackles and and generally have trouble getting into the opposition half. You can see this in the first 10 to 15 mins and it is obvious they are going to lose the game. It is hard watching them when they are so lame.
