even though it isnt as tough of a game now as it was in the 80's it is still a great game. It is a real shame the people that run the game have zero idea on how to promote it to the world. I know for a fact Americans would love it. I don't know, Crow. Don't Americans only take interest in what is happening in the States and nowhere else? For many Americans, the US is the world. And why not, America would have everything you would want or need. Maybe you can promote the game over there.

a lot of Americans are into British soccer. I hate that sport myself. You would however be correct to a degree. There are a lot of very narrow minded people in this country, but then some would love to follow another sport in another country.
I wish I could promote the game over here, just dont have that sort of chump change.

That's the game we all played when we were kids, because our parents wouldn't sign the permission slip to play tackle football. I don't really follow the game myself, but there are Australians that also follow the EPL. Spread the word about the NRL!! Although, you really need the media to promote the game in a big way. I agree though, many Americans would like the game, but Rugby League is only big in the North of England, East Coast of Australia and somewhere in New Zealand. Americans would recognise Rugby Union more so. I think RU is played in the American colleges.

RU is played in American colleges. I used to coach a team when I lived in California.

it was an awesome place in the 60's and 70's but now the most overrated place in the US. People are rude, have bad attitudes and there are so many better places in the States. Having said that, San Francisco and San Diego are both awesome places

I liked the Steve McQueen movie "Bullitt" and the Dirty Harry movies, cause they were also filmed in such a scenic city. Is New York / Manhattan an OK place?

Sydney would definitely be the New York City of Australia Is Brooklyn / the Bronx still a bad neighbourhood? We've all heard stories that it was run down and full of crime in the 70's / 80's. I think that area is only a few blocks away from "lifestyles of the rich and famous" Manhattan.

the crime isnt as bad as it used to be, I lived in the Bronx in the 90's. I really liked it because it is very multicultural.

The Wanderers were Italian. The school they all attended seemed very multicultural. It probably wasn't like that in the 90's. You've been everywhere, Crow. The Bronx, California, Denver Colorado and even Australia.
