sucked in big time dogs. I am so glad he moved on. Agree, Bulldogs would of won more premierships, making Parra look even worse. Glad JT left.

JT was well past it last season, it was sad to see since he was such a great player. I wish the Eels signed him before the Cowboys did. The Eels would have broken the Sterlo curse with him.

I don't know, the curse is pretty bad!! LOL JT would of injured himself during Grand Final week. But I know what you are saying. JT was that good, the curse would have been lifted, especially if we had him in 2009.

Jason Taylor had a good year in 2009 but he could never defend. That was his huge weakness.

Jason Taylor had a good year in 2009 but he could never defend. That was his huge weakness. You mean 2001. Other teams did expose that weakness. Andrew Johns was a great attacking player and defender. The complete halfback.

sorry I did mean 2001. Newcastle aimed all there offense at Taylor and what a glaring weakness he was.

sorry I did mean 2001. Newcastle aimed all there offense at Taylor and what a glaring weakness he was. He wasn't very well built. Probably too skinny for a football player unless he was a fullback similar to Brett Mullins. I hope Parra can achieve success this year, but that would be too much to ask.

I think your not asking for too much. I have said all along that the Eels will make the playoffs. How far they go after that time will tell.

I don't believe they can win the comp. It just seems too difficult and will never happen. Storm and Roosters are the teams to beat and maybe Souths.

Agree with you 100%. I dont think they will win the competition either, Storm and Roosters are just head and shoulders above all the other teams.

I don't think Parra have any players that can win a premiership. In the past Hayne had the talent, but not the know how. Cayless, Hindmarsh and Burt were solid players, but couldn't get over the line. Is Gutherson premiership material? He's flamboyant and skilful, but good enough?

Great question about Gutherson. I really dont know, I guess time will tell. I am highly impressed with Mahoney and Lane, they have both been awesome this year.
