Another Parramatta Eels player could give evidence in Jarryd Hayne assault case
Police may request to interview a third Parramatta Eels player in relation to the assault charges laid against Jarryd Hayne.
Fairfax Media has reported Eels player Kane Evans spent time with Hayne prior to the alleged incident with a woman in the Hunter on the night of the 2018 NRL grand final.
It follows reports Hayne was drinking with Brad Takairangi and Kaysa Pritchard at a western Sydney venue in the hours following the alleged incident.
It is not suggested any of Evans, Takairangi, or Pritchard did anything wrong or unlawful, or that they had any knowledge of the alleged incident.
A Parramatta spokesperson declined to give comment to Fairfax Media and none of the players have spoken publicly in regards to the case.
Hayne has been charged with aggravated sexual assault occasioning bodily harm.

what did Andrew Johns do? Remember when he got caught taking ecstasy in the UK and his brother Matthew was involved in a sex scandal while playing at the Sharks. Those two would of got up to a lot of mischief in their playing days. |
