It is pretty pathetic that the Eels have not won anything for that long. In 1986 they won 2 competitions, they won the mid week one as well.

Pricey and Crow would have been retired for the world club challenge anyway.

Pricey and Crow would have been retired for the world club challenge anyway. I think Eels would have played Wigan. Can't exactly remember which English team won that year, but the Eels were one year too early for the WCC. Price did play in England during 1989/90. I think Wakefield Trinity.

I know Sterlo and Kenny played in England and came back to the Eels late, after they finished there season in England.

I know Sterlo and Kenny played in England and came back to the Eels late, after they finished there season in England. That was 1985. The season had started here but the English season was still being played. First 9 or 10 rounds Sterlo and Kenny were absent from the Eels. Eels still won the majority of their games they were that good.

Unfortunately they didnt make the GF that year Slaughtered in the final 26-0. I think it was only 4-0 at halftime. That was a bad game for the Eels.
