let the french have him and mercy to them The Hayne articles just keep on coming and they are not about football. Sydney Morning Herald Jarryd Hayne posts $20,000 bail to secure release over alleged sex assault Jarryd Hayne must report to police three times a week, refrain from entering the Newcastle area and post $20,000 surety to meet strict bail conditions imposed by police, after he was charged with aggravated sexual assault against a 26-year-old woman. The embattled rugby league star spent more than nine hours at Ryde local police station on Monday evening, when he handed himself into police over the alleged sexual assault that took place at a home in the Hunter region on the NRL grand final night in September. Hayne finally emerged from the police station in the early hours of Tuesday morning, accompanied by his manager Wayne Beavis, having been charged with aggravated sexual assault by detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad. With a grey jumper slung around his shoulders, Hayne made no comment to a waiting media pack as he was picked up by a dark silver vehicle. Bail conditions imposed upon the former Parramatta Eels fullback include reporting to The Hills Local Area Command between 8am and 8pm every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; surrendering his passport, not applying for another passport and not approaching any point of departure. Hayne is also not to enter any international airport or the Newcastle local government area, while he is to live only at an unspecified address in Norwest. The 30-year-old is not to contact or attempt to contact the victim or any witnesses by any means whatsoever including electronic means, social media platforms or through any third party. He is also not to assault, molest, harass, threaten or otherwise interfere with the victim, stalk or engage in any other conduct that intimidates the victim or a person with whom the victim has a domestic relationship. If he fails to comply with any of the agreed conditions, Hayne has agreed to forfeit $20,000. It is understood the time Hayne spent at the police station on Monday night was taken up by a lengthy bail determination consideration, with independent police officers assessing his release. The maximum penalty for the charge of aggravated assault is 20 years in jail. Earlier this month, detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad commenced an investigation into the alleged incident, after receiving reports a woman had been sexually assaulted by a man she met on social media. A complaint about the incident was first made to the NRL Integrity Unit, before it was referred to the sex crimes squad. Hayne has been granted strict conditional bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on Monday December 10. It is the second sexual asssault allegation levelled at the rugby league player, who is currently fighting a civil lawsuit in the US relating to the alleged sexual assault of a woman in San Jose in December 2015. After mediation talks failed, the civil lawsuit was scheduled to go to trial on January 27 next year.

it is a double edged sword. That Me 2 movement with woman, they can call rape at the drop of a hat now and people listen. Rape is not right but using it against someone for there own agenda is wrong as well. At this point I would call Hayne innocent until he is proven guilty.

Sydney Morning Herald
Jarryd Hayne allegedly bit woman on the genitals, before taxi back to Sydney
New details continue to emerge over an alleged sexual assault committed by NRL player Jarryd Hayne, including that he bit the female victim on her genital area, causing severe bleeding that required her to seek medical attention.
It can also be revealed that - in the early hours of the morning, after the alleged incident in the Hunter region - Hayne was back in Sydney's western suburbs drinking with another NRL player.
The revelations come two days after Hayne handed himself in to police, who charged him with aggravated sexual assault.
Police will allege the former Parramatta Eels fullback was intoxicated when he went to the house north of Newcastle, which the woman shared with her mother, on the Sunday night of the NRL grand final. The woman's mother was at home at the time of the alleged incident.
Hayne was allegedly drinking in the Newcastle or Central Coast area before he travelled in a taxi to visit the woman with whom he had been communicating on a social messenger app.
Once there, it is alleged he asked the taxi to wait about 20 minutes.
Police allege he sexually assaulted the woman, ripping off her clothes and biting her on her genitals, drawing blood.
It is believed that Hayne then travelled in the same taxi back to Sydney.
The Herald understands the woman suffered severe injuries from the bite wound and sought medical treatment the following day.
The Herald also understands Hayne was then seen drinking with another NRL player at the Merrylands Bowling Club, about 3am on Monday.
Accompanied by his manager Wayne Beavis, Hayne attended Ryde police station on Monday night. He spent 10 hours there before he was granted conditional bail.
He is bound by a number of strict bail conditions, including reporting to police three times a week, surrendering his passport and posting a $20,000 surety.
A police source said Hayne was yet to make any comment or statement on the record to police, and has so far "declined to be interviewed".

it just keeps getting worse for the guy. What an asshole. Sydney Morning Herald Police have seized CCTV footage of Jarryd Hayne drinking with former Parramatta Eels teammates Brad Takairangi and Kaysa Pritchard in a western suburbs bowling club, hours after he allegedly committed a sexual assault in September. The Herald can reveal Hayne was drinking with his former teammates at the Merrylands Bowling Club at about 3am, after the alleged incident that took place in the Hunter region on the night of the NRL grand final. There is no suggestion whatsoever that Takairangi and Pritchard were involved in, or had any knowledge of, the alleged incident. It is understood police seized CCTV footage from the bowling club when they were made aware that Hayne had been drinking at the club. Investigators are yet to speak with Takairangi or Pritchard, however it is likely they will speak with the pair as part of the ongoing investigation. Police declined to comment except to confirm that they had commenced inquiries into the time Hayne spent at the club and that the investigation was continuing. A Parramatta spokesman declined to comment on the incident, saying it was "a police matter". “The club and the players will not be making any public comment,” he said. Around noon on Thursday, Hayne reported to Castle Hill Police Station for the second time since his release on bail, accompanied by his close friend Ray Roumanous. Roumanous travelled with Hayne to the United States during the first leg of his American sojourn, the pair living and training together as Hayne prepared himself for a series of NFL trials that eventually led to a San Francisco 49ers contract in 2015. Three years on, Hayne has been charged with aggravated sexual assault over the incident, which occurred in the Hunter region, with police alleging the cross-code star was intoxicated when he travelled to a house north of Newcastle to meet a 26-year-old woman. Hayne is alleged to have bitten the female victim on her genital area, causing severe bleeding that required her to seek medical attention the following day. The former fullback had allegedly been drinking in the Newcastle or Central Coast region before travelling via taxi to meet the woman, with whom he had been communicating via a social messenger app. Upon arrival, he allegedly asked the taxi driver to wait for about 20 minutes. The alleged victim reportedly communicated with Hayne afterwards, telling him how badly she was injured. Hayne is bound by a series of strict bail conditions, including reporting to police three times a week, surrendering his passport and posting a $20,000 surety. It is understood Hayne is yet to be interviewed or make any statement to NSW Police over the alleged assault and plans to beef up his legal representation. The charge against Hayne appears to have effectively ended his NRL career. The 30-year-old was off contract after finishing up his commitments with Parramatta at the end of the season. The Eels had expressed a desire to re-sign the former NSW and Australian representative but, with only $200,000 left in their salary cap, needed to offload at least one contracted player to accommodate him. Parramatta aborted plans to sign him following the latest allegations. Another suitor, St George Illawarra, has done likewise. The Dragons were the favourites to add Hayne to a backline in need of a marquee man following the departure of Nene Macdonald to North Queensland and the retirement of Jason Nightingale. However, the Red V ended negotiations after Hayne was charged.

some NFL players get themselves into trouble, they are usually always younger than Hayne. Hayne should have learned by now.
