International rugby league is quite boring. Too one sided, there needs to be more teams that can challenge Australia on a regular basis?

International rugby league is quite boring. Too one sided, there needs to be more teams that can challenge Australia on a regular basis? Only New Zealand are competitive, but not all the time. Australia is too good, because our domestic competition is so strong. Same with cricket!! Australia has won 5 World Cups and the next best is 2 World Cup wins. Do well in the Olympics too. Australia is a sporting nation. |

Australia for the population is a very good sporting nation. NZ for there population, sure are an amazing rugby nation.
I generally compare Australia against GB in the Olympics. Normally Australia does better except for in London, GB kicked Australia ass.

Australia have won 2 World Cups, but have been average in the past decade. Australia in the Olympics - 1984 14th 1988 15th 1992 10th 1996 7th 2000 4th 2004 4th 2008 6th 2012 8th 2016 10th Not bad for a small population. USA probably win every Olympics!! |

the Soviet Union used to win every Olympics when they existed, but they cheated.
Australia are extremely good in the summer Olympics, not so good in the winter Olympics. Australia is not a winter climate country at all.

I think we won gold at ice skating when 3 players fell over and the Australian coming last cruised over the line in first place. Funniest thing I've ever seen. |

it was drugs to some degree, but the Olympics used to be all non professional athletes and all the Soviet Union athletes were professional.
I remember that Aussie dude coming from 100 yards behind winning gold. I laughed my ass off.

I would have a great laugh if Parramatta won the same way. I had had a great laugh about Bradbury winning the way he did. He became a cult hero on US TV.

Parra could win the same way if the Roosters, Storm and Rabbitohs were struck down with the flu a few weeks out from the Grand Final. Even then I would question their chances. |

I dont think that the eels could beat the Roosters, Storm or Rabbiits even if they had there 3rd grade team out there. All 3 teams are too well coached.

The Tigers game was excusable, because they had the Tigers well and truly beat by halftime. An 80 minute team wins the Grand Final. |

Parramatta against the RORTERS was great for 60 mins, the problem was they played an 80 min team.
