you know, I have to agree with you. I just dont think BA is a very good coach. Why on earth would they sign him for 2 more years of his garbage? We want get the wooden spoon this year, but it wouldnt surprise me if we did in the next 2 years. BA's resume in the past 5 years - 1 wooden spoon Only 1 finals appearance Appoints Tim Mannah captain Struggled to produce an 80 minute team 2019 - Only won 1 away game at Penrith which is just down the road. Darwin was a home game. Doesn't look good!! |

BA is a shocker, nothing about him looks good. I dont understand why the front office would keep him? It isnt logical to me, it makes the front office look bad and BA is laughing all the way to the bank. He is earning the big bucks for being a failure in coaching.

House paid off and he won the wooden spoon. Give me this job. If Parra win the comp which isn't going to happen, I'll extend his contract by 10 years just for achieving something the club has failed to do in over 30 years, but like I said, a premiership is not going to happen. |

Gutho being captain would be more closely linked to the coach than any other player. A few deals between coaches and players were going on to save careers!! LOL |

I find that wrong, as now we are stuck with a below average coach. If Gutherson would not sign a new contract unless BA was signed I would have let Gutherson go, quite frankly.

I agree, I would have done the same thing. It's funny how Tim Mannah did not speak up and say if BA leaves, so will I!! Instead, a co captain, one of the best players in the team that has many more years to play. Should have punted them both!! I think we need a thread just for BA!! LOL |

There ia only one coach worse than BA and that is the guy that coaches the Titans, maybe we should have gotten him. He is apparently being punted by the Titans at the end of the season.

The Titans guy has an excuse though, he doesn't have a good team. That makes BA the worst coach in the game. I say sign the Titans coach and I don't even know his name. |

you are are only mentioning the big name coaches, and they are contracted to other clubs. There maybe a a complete nobody out there somewhere who would be a great coach. The trouble is that the Eels talent scouts suck, if they even have any.

I personally think the Titans coach is worse than BA. That isnt saying much as both are bad. The long term success of the Eels isnt look to great with such a weak coach. The need to have a top class coach is so huge to be a success. BA needs to go.

That's all they need, a decent coach and one or two more forwards. |
