I dont understand why so many of these so called experts dont see anything wrong with the turd? He was disastrous.He was dumb and couldnt coach, but these so called know it all's protect him like he was someone special. He was just a dumbassed turd. The same happened with Stephen Kearney as coach, and you don't see him coaching a team just like the janitor will never coach again. Both were duds!! |

Kearney did coach the Warriors for a time until they woke up to him and fired his ass.
I think the turd will go down in history as the worst coach the Eels ever had. Unlike a lot of the previous coaches he had a very good team, which made his record look better than some previous coaches. He had a good enough team to win a few titles but of course was a pathetic failure.

But they need a good coach which was Brian "choker" Smith, back then. If they lost a fullback or halfback, they could easily replace. BA was a flop and couldn't attract quality players from other clubs. The new coach needs to have that influence. |

They should have gone for Flanagan years ago. They would be in good shape now.

Agree, need a coach that has experienced a premiership. No more rookie coaches or long-term coaches that have never won. Would be nice to see the clubs list of coaching candidates. |

I am not keen on Jason Ryles. Forget any rookie coach. Michael Maguire would be my first choice.
