It probably came from getting tackled on North Sydney oval. That was like concrete. Some of those grounds in the 80s were terrible. Didn't they water the fields? Cumberland Oval was a dust bowl. |

Hard to believe that back in the 80's rugby league was played on cow paddocks. 19th century standard grounds.
