I am calling it the same as you. I am already almost not interested in next season. Tied of the Panthers. They have a lot of assholes on that team. It's difficult for any fan after the glory years. For us Eels fans we haven't seen success since the 80's, but for most fans it's the same after the glory years. Panthers are currently in their glory years which will eventually come to an end. |

Hopefully the Panthers glory years have already come to an end I could not stand seeing them win again. They are such an ugly bunch of assholes after they win as well. Putting shit on opposition players after you win is such poor sportsmanship. There are a lot of grubs in that team.

Experience: 164 NRL games
Analysis: Blake joined the Eels from the Panthers in 2019 and has made 76 appearances for Brad Arthur’s side, but he’s fallen out of favour at the club.
The outside back played just seven games for Parramatta in 2023 and he was dropped for the final time after Round 22.
Blake appears to be on the lookout for a new club to re-establish himself as a regular first-grader and he could land at the Warriors or Cowboys.
Verdict: Signs with Warriors or Cowboys

A Broncos team with superstars would not have blown a 24-8 lead bringing the Panthers glory days already to an end. That's the difference between good and great teams. Panthers against an inexperienced team in grand finals worked in their favour. And yes, the Panthers are arrogant, but maybe that helps them win. Wayne Bennett used to do that but in a more subtle way, showing his team the opposition team list on grand final day against the Dragons. And remember Alan Langer during celebrations back in Brisbane, singing to the crowd, "St George can't play". |
