Josh Hodgson is or was a very smart player, I just dont know if he is a bit long in the tooth or not. I guess we will see in the first few weeks. If he adds more than Mahoney we have a winner. Josh Hodgson and the Eels second row were the best players tonight. Nothing doing in attack, Brown and Moses couldn't win that game if their life depended on it. Hodgson was the Eels best and showed he's a worthy signing. Talking points - * Eels halves not only struggled to win the game, they didn't even look dangerous with the ball. * Lumelume started the game well, but in just a few minutes dropped a ball and then made an ordinary effort to tackle which led to the Storms second try. * I thought the Storm especially in the first half looked ordinary, not the team they used to be but they hung in there. * Sack this dud janitor!! |

One tick was horrific, get rid of the guy that didnt even have one trick to show the storm.
I never want to put blame on a replacement player. He does look like he has potential.
Storm were pathetic in the first half but the Eels did not take the advantage.
Josh Hodgson deserves to be with a better team, he was really good.
Neither team will make the 4, the Eels will struggle to make the 8 on that effort.
