Parramatta Eels
There are several concerns for the Eels going into Round 1 with Shaun Lane (broken jaw), Ryan Matterson (suspension) and Bailey Simonsson (shoulder) unavailable. Nathan Brown (hamstring), Waqa Blake (broken arm) and Bryce Cartwright (broken jaw) did not trial but are on track to be available in Round 1.

Terrible injuries, but a smashed up jaw you can still play with I guess. Those players just need to duck more in tackles. Waqa Blake already can't catch the high ball, but now with a broken arm makes it impossible. |

Why would Nathan Brown be on the reserve bench, he is a very good player.

Why would Nathan Brown be on the reserve bench, he is a very good player. Starting to age though, but still a lot of mongrel in him. He's the Eels bad boy, closest to a scoundrel of a player. |

He is still better than those no names that will get called onto play ahead of him. I wonder if he realizes how phony the turd is and has stated it to others and the turd heard about it so there is a massive falling out between them?  |

Storm are weaker and so are the Eels, but one team has a coach and the other is a fool who thinks he can coach.
