I just cant believe the Eels actually signed the only coach that is worse than the turd. How stupid are they? 2 dud coaches don't make a right! Trent can slap faces on the sideline while the Eels get run down in a grand final after leading at halftime. Should bring Nathan Brown to the Eels as well. Michael Hagan can also give halftime speeches about how he did nothing but read a newspaper while coaching the '01 grand final. That's how easy coaching can be when you have the best player in 100 years of football. |

My big prediction is that the Eels sign Nathan Brown actually, because he is a dud and doesnt endanger the turd. The turd must realize he is a turd and signs dud coaches that cant replace him.

This was discussed on 1Eyed a few years ago, the janitor will only work alongside coaches who are worse than him, otherwise he'll lose his job after being obviously found out. The janitor only made the grand final on the back of some decent talent in the Eels team, but they were far from a premiership winning team. Defence all year was horrible. Footy season is only 2 months away!!  |

Always look forward to the NRL season but right now it is all about the Buffalo Bills. I am hoping for big things from them this season.

it sure makes for a better year. The time between when the NRL GF ends and the next season always was boring for me when I lived in Sydney. Could not follow the NFL in those days. We are talking ancient history

We are talking ancient history NFL didn't appear on Australian television until the early 90s. But that was only highlights on Saturday and the Super Bowl. By the late 90s Australia had cable / foxtel and NFL could be watched on a regular basis. |

The Super Bowl started in Australia in the late 80's hosted by Don Lane, but that was all they had then.

I dont think they will make the playoffs this year to be honest. Lost too many good players and have a turd who thinks he can coach.
