Eels have shown nothing this season that we havent already seen in the past. The players say they have belief, but do they really? Gutho says this is the best team he has played with but quite frankly I think that is only talk. The problem is obvious, the flushing turd has nothing. I think that Simonsson is weak defensively. He was targeted by the Sharks and failed dismally. Eels had the wood on the Storm last season but I dont think they will this season, the Els already look weaker this season. Storm by 18 When players talk it up they never win. Only Muhammad Ali could do that. When is Sivo back? Eels need decent wingers, both are out injured. Storm will beat the Eels down there in Melbourne. Not the same team without Cameron Smith but still have a decent coach. |

I think Sivo is back in June. Still a long way off. How the hell gutho thinks this is the best team ever is beyond me. 2 games, 2 lousy performances is not a good start.
Hodgson was a really good player but I feel his days are done. Mahoney is a huge loss. He has been the Eels best player so far this season.
