Put it this way the Storm have a better chance of winning a GF than the Eels. True they are not as strong but still have an awesome coach. Look at what the Eels have? I think the Bears would get more support on the Central Coast than you think. True it isnt a Capital City but it has a big population and many there that support other Sydney teams will probably start supporting the Bears. The population is growing as well due to the cost of housing in Sydney. Eel is a funny name for a highly popular team. You dont think of eels as more than a slimy water creature. It isnt awe inspiring like a Dragon even though that is mythical. Storm are definitely a bigger chance of winning than the Eels. Lost by 2 points to the Sharks and only managed 2 tries. Sharks poor goal kicking kept the Eels in the game. Can't believe the Eels gave a penalty away with 1:30 on the clock. But you know what the most disappointing thing was...a pathetic crowd of 11,000 for 2 Sydney teams. Seriously, kick the Sharks out or send them to Perth. True about the Bears on the Coast with a growing population, but capital cities are the future if the game is to expand and survive. Eels, Bunnies and Roosters are not tough mascots. |

Eels have already shown what they are made of. They are weak mentally with a mentally weak flushing turd. I had a feeling they were going to lose that game. The first half was a snooze fest, except the last minute.
Dylan Brown if he was in the military would get locked up for desertion.
2 games and the season is already over for the Eels. As they say in the classics there is always next year, but with this coach it will once again be the same result. Why didnt they get rid of him when they came last under him?
