Western Sharks does sound good. There are still too many teams in Sydney. Brisbane is only getting its second team next year. But I dont like the uneven number of teams. How do the have a magic round with every team. I have an idea, bring back the Bears. Crowds in Sydney for Round 1 were decent, but still too many teams. More than 15k every game except the Wests Tigers. Where would the Bears be located? And they wouldn't have many fans. Maybe bring back the Jets too. |

Bears on Central Coast because it is away from Sydney and they can play one or 2 games at North Sydney oval. Jets I think are done unless they move to Adelaide? Adelaide Jets doesnt sound too bad?

Adelaide Jets sounds better than Adelaide Rams. Jack Gibson wanted Parramatta Rams. He didn't like Eels. The Bears would have to move to the Central Coast but would the Coast offer the same as a capital city? More sponsorship, business and dollars in a major city than Gosford. |

Tepai Moeroa may win a GF this year? Storm are still a strong team but no longer guaranteed to win the comp with Cameron Smith retired. Geez, he was a good player, no wonder the Storm were successful. |

Put it this way the Storm have a better chance of winning a GF than the Eels. True they are not as strong but still have an awesome coach. Look at what the Eels have?
I think the Bears would get more support on the Central Coast than you think. True it isnt a Capital City but it has a big population and many there that support other Sydney teams will probably start supporting the Bears. The population is growing as well due to the cost of housing in Sydney.
Eel is a funny name for a highly popular team. You dont think of eels as more than a slimy water creature. It isnt awe inspiring like a Dragon even though that is mythical.
