All in all I think Lane and Matterson are pretty close, but Lane loses out due to his ball handling like you said. I Think the Dragons will be huge improvers this season with Shaun Flanagan helping in the background. Why couldnt the Eels be smarter and sign him?  Dragons and Bulldogs are not the clubs they used to be. Since that late 70s they both made many grand finals, but the last 5 or 6 years very ordinary. I'm surprised by that. At least the Eels make the finals every year with a dud coach, they just can't make a grand final. |

I was at that game, Eels got run down. It was a warm day for that time of the year and caught the train to the game. Think it was a double header. |

Heavy rain, isnt that all that the whole of Australia is getting now and we need plenty here. I have not watched any of the womans game but to be honest I dont think it would be all that great. I dont mean to sound sexist either.
