A dazzling centres' display by Eels' pair Brett Kenny and Andrew Leeds cut the Gold Coast Giants apart in a 26-12 win.
The veteran Kenny and union convert Leeds combined brilliantly in a win that kept Parramatta well on target for the finals.
The two both scored tries and found plenty of room to move against a Giants' defence that hung off at times.
Peter Sterling was again dominant, cleaning up the loose balls, tackling everything that came his way and orchestrating the attack with the best football brain in the business.
The sin-binning of Giants' captain Ron Gibbs was an expensive loss for the Gold Coast who held Parramatta at 12-all before he was marched by referee Neil Almond.
The Eels scored one try while he was off the field and the Giants appeared to lose their way from that point.
Best for the Giants were halves Mike Eden and Geoff Bagnall, and fullback Terry Dardengo.
