Parramatta confirmed their premiership favouritism with a 15-7 win over Easts at Cumberland last Sunday.
The Eels have lost only two matches in the premiership this year - once to St George and once to Manly.
They led Easts 10-2 at halftime and 10-4 soon after.
A try by centre Greg Owens sealed Parramatta's win after Fitzgerald and Glover scored the first half tries.
A fine try by Ian Schubert brought Easts some hope late in the match, but the Eels had slipped too far away.
Easts bombed two definite scoring chances, once when Bob Fulton dropped the ball with the line open.
Fairfax also missed two easy goal attempts.
Parramatta's forwards clearly won the day over Easts, although the Roosters had some good moments in attack.
SCRUMS: Parramatta 15-9.
PENALTIES: Easts 12-5.
