Round 11, 1976: Parramatta 12 d Penrith 10
Big League Magazine 5th - 11th June, 1976
Parramatta's pint-sized five-eighth Ted Sulkowicz kicked a match winning goal against Penrith at Cumberland Oval without knowing the importance of the kick. Sulkowicz's goal gave the Eels a vital 12-10 win and kept the Cumberland boys well in the final five race. The young Parramatta replacement said after the game he thought his side had been in front when he took the kick right on full time. "I couldn't understand what everyone was so happy about when the ball went over," he said after the match. The Eels' forwards paved the way for the win with a good display against a Penrith side which never let up.
