Casey McGuire

Casey McGuire (born 24 January 1980) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer. A Queensland State of Origin representative half back, he played his club football in the National Rugby League (NRL) for the Brisbane Broncos (with whom he won the 2006 NRL Premiership) and Parramatta Eels, as well as in the Super League for the Catalans Dragons.

McGuire made his NRL debut in the 1998 season for the Parramatta Eels.

Return to Australia

McGuire returned to Australia and the club where he made his NRL comeback with his first club, the Parramatta Eels for the 2011 season, playing as five-eighth. He only missed a small number of games since returning to the NRL.

A pectoral muscle injury during the 2012 NRL season put the remainder of McGuire's playing career in doubt.
