I think it will start up again in a month. Mind you the bad thing about Australia is that it is going into winter. Virus loves winter. We will see I guess. Your PM seems clueless which is bad. Maybe 2 weeks? Trump is reopening the US by Easter because a world without an economy would be worse. Why don't we just all wear those full body suits?? LOL |

the full body suits is a great idea except at present there is probably a world shortage. When the world gets stocked up pass them out to everyone except the janitor. No need for him. Leave him to clean up the worlds toilets.

I could be wrong, but I think once the virus goes over the world everyone will develop immunity except of course those that died and life will go on. Phil Gould made an interesting point comparing the current problem to the bushfires, saying "is this virus something we wont be talking about in two months time just like now with the bushfires". In other words, are we going to make massive changes and lose jobs and ruin the economy over something that may pass? Although, I think the current problem is a little more serious than the bushfires, but I get his point. |

This current problem is however worldwide and there is too much panic.I like what Phil Gould said and tend to agree. I like to look at the positive, all this current doom and gloom going on for too long is a pain in the ass. Let it be over soon. I am confined to home now under state governors orders, starting today, dont know how long for? It could be worse though.

As much at I cant stand Trump I do like that he said things will be normal by Easter. The uncertainty is the worst part about this stupid virus. I think Australia has gone overboard in a number of ways quite honestly.

The virus is definitely killing people, but I would like to know that statistics on how many vulnerable people (elderly and sick) compared to fit and healthy that have passed away. Appears the people dying in Australia are 65+ on cruise ships. Only 13 deaths here. Find it suspicious that China's death toll has not increased in three weeks. They're either contained the virus or covering up the truth / real statistics. |

I have lost count of the deaths here, I dont know the ages of all that died either. I am still not convinced it is as bad as being told by politicians.

Cause I work for an insurance company and have a laptop, I work from home everyday. Not sure when I'll get back into the office?? USA death toll is currently 1,704. Australians are still attending the beach and other social activities, obviously not taking the lockdown serious. ScoMo LOL This guy has no leadership and expects Australians to take him serious. Eels have a decent team and only need one more signing being the coach. |

Still have work because Suncorp is a decent size Australian company, but the shutdowns still have me worried a little. ScoMo has said that he will hibernate business, meaning peoples jobs will still be there in a few months time, but I don't trust this guy, he probably doesn't want to admit people are now out of work and will never get back to that job. Agree about the Eels!! Sterlo and Kenny were great players, but Jack Gibson had a major influence on that team. You need a good coach, the janitor is ScoMo as a football coach. No leadership, confidence or faith. |
